Childcare first aid is a first aid, CPR and AED course produced for people which work in daycares and child-minding departments. This class is considered among the most detailed and comprehensive classes offered by the workplace approved. Length of Class

Emergency childcare first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation takes approximately eighteen hours to complete. The span of time is dependent on the skill and experience level of the students training course.

CPR Integrated into the Program

Every standard childcare first aid and CPR lessons has to include cardiopulmonary resuscitation “B” education. It’s the only level of cardiopulmonary resuscitation education that can be paired along with the class. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation level “B” educates student’s cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED rescue strategies for child and adult victims.

Childcare 1st Aid and CPR Official Certification

Individuals who pass this course will get a St Mark James standard childcare first aid, CPR and AED cert that also displays certification in CPR level “B” and automated external defibrillator training. This award is current for 36 months. The cert is given out as a wallet sized official document. Students can receive a 8.5″ by 11″ cert if desired. The wall-mount record has no licensing significance so individuals need to keep the wallet sized certificate to indicate certification in the program.
